Carlos Abelar Means Business

Carlos Abelar and I have been social network friends for several years. We’re both active members of Thad Russell’s Renegade University. Carlos is a great friend of the show who has even sponsored a few episodes. I wanted to learn more about the CBD and what it’s like to start a small business in the covid era. So I asked Carlos to pull up a virtual chair and chat for a bit. I think you’ll enjoy his story.

  • The store: Paloma Verde (use offer code BLACKBIRD at checkout for a great discount!)

  • Bonus Book Recommendation: The Pine Creek Chronicles is completely unrelated to Carlos or CBD, but this hilarious new series was written by a friend of the show. I wanted to give him a quick shout-out. If you’re in desperate need of some fiction in this weird timeline, check it out!

Learn With Me

Renegade University

Join me at Thad Russell’s Renegade University. His postmodernism course is available on replay now. Check out the other offerings to enroll in current and future courses. I think you’ll be particularly interested in what’s coming up in March, a course with CTRL+Pew.

Liberty Classroom

I’ve renewed my Basic Membership to Tom Woods’s Liberty Classroom so many times that I finally just sprung for the lifetime Master Membership. I recommend you do the same. You’ll get unlimited access to courses on history, economics, political theory, logic, and even literature taught by liberty-loving professors from colleges and universities around the world. It’s the antidote to the cathedral.
